WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL NIGHT?
International night celebrates student diversity and promotes understanding and respect for community cultures. International Night is an opportunity for students and families to share their cultural traditions and provides an educational opportunity to learn about other cultures for the community.
Ashley Falls families share their culture through food, music, crafts, art, traditional clothes, etc. Enjoy music from around the world. Sign up for the country you would like to represent. Even if someone has already signed up for your country, feel free to sign up as well! It means you have extra support. You will be connected with others who have signed up for the same country and you can collaborate ideas.
Suggestions:
Activities: Students may participate in activities such as making crafts or traditional games. Decorations: Students and community members may decorate the school to represent their culture. Presentations: Students may present projects or cultural displays
Food: students and participants may provide small treats or bites to represent their culture.
