Congrats to Srta. Medina (100%) and Sra Anderson's (96%) classes, who already earned classroom parties for the overall family membership participation.

There is still a week and a few days left of our membership drive and giving campaign! Classrooms with a 90% or above participation rate receive a party to celebrate - Not to mention bragging rights!

Donating to the PTA enriches the experience your child will have this year at Ashley Falls and becoming a PTA member is the best way to support the teachers and staff on this campus.

General membership gives families the ability to vote, engage in decision making at General Association meetings, access to our member directory, and our newsletters.
All donations OVER the general membership dues ($30) help fund the extra programs and services in the classrooms and on campus.

We hope you will join us in helping make this year epic!

General Association Meeting Oct 4th

Please join us on Friday, October 4th from 8-9 am in the MUR for our first General Association Meeting of the year. This is open to anyone. Only PTA members are allowed to vote.

A virtual option will be sent out via email on October 1st to PTA members.

Multilingual PTA Presentations

Recorded PTA presentations in the four major non-English languages spoken by families on our campus (Korean, Mandarin, Spanish and Farsi) will be available soon on our new Youtube page. You can access our Youtube page via the link below.

Since our PTA expenditures focus on impacting as many students as possible during the school day, much of what we do isn't seen by families, but experienced by students.

Why does the PTA ask for additional donations? Everything the PTA does is self-funded. We cannot sponsor classroom mini grants, clubs or assemblies without the donations from families and the community. Here are your donations at work...

Cultural Club

Our newest lunch club this year seeks to expand the sentiment of International Night all year long. We are looking for parents and families who are interested in sharing a little more about their family heritage or culture with Ashley Falls students during lunch one day during the month.

This month's cultural theme is Hispanic Heritage Month and there are 2 lunch clubs hosted by Sra. Anderson. Students will have the opportunity to play some Latin American games at the sessions.

Thurs, Sept 26th is K-2nd grades

Thurs, Oct 10th is 3rd-6th grades

Drama Club

Calling all Ashley Falls students!

Join us in the Music room on Monday, September 30 during lunch recess (12:15-12:45) for some fun acting games inspired by the Moana musical!

No experience required.

This free event sponsored by the PTA is open to all students on campus.

Mileage Club

Mileage Club is every morning from 7:45am-8 am and Tuesdays and Fridays during lunch. Mileage club is a GREAT way for kids to get their wiggles out before class and stay healthy!

Students earn "footies" for the amount of miles they run over the course of the year. See how many miles your child can log this year!

September awards will be coming out soon!

This club is sponsored by the PTA and facilitated by Coach Cunha and parent volunteers!

Garden Club

We are so proud of our school garden and how many students it impacts. All our flower beds in both our garden and butterfly garden are full now!

We have cucumbers, cauliflower, grapes, strawberries, vietnamese dragonfruit, sweet peas, an assortment of flowers and milkweed growing.

The garden club is open to all Ashley Falls students everyday at lunch time!

The Garden Club and Butterfly Garden is proudly funded by the Ashley Falls PTA and lovingly cared for by Mrs. Fallon-McKnight, Mrs. Ormsby, and Mrs. Shaw.

Safety Patrol

The safety patrol is a unique organization at Ashley Falls school. It provides 5th and 6th grade students with the opportunity to learn responsibility, teamwork, and leadership while helping the community.

Through the partnership with SDPD and the leadership of Coach Cunha and Mr. Buck, the Ashley Falls PTA is happy to help sponsor our Safety Patrol students.

Ice Cream Social

Join us as we celebrate the end of our Membership Drive and Giving Campaign! This is a free eventpaid for by the Ashley Falls PTA through the generous donations from our membership!

Friday, Sept 27th from 5 pm to 7:30 pm on the Ashley Falls blacktop.

There will be pizza slices for sale. Bring your refillable water bottles.
