A Message from the President

Hello, Eagles Family!

Thank you to all who supported our spring book fair last week. We sold a little over $10,000 in merchandise. In our next PTA newsletter we will share how that will be used at our school. Thank you to Jane Desai, Kristen Howell, and Robyn Speigel for making our book fairs a success!

If you missed the "Parenting in the Digital World" presentation last week, the district office sent out a recording link. I strongly encourage all parents, especially those with kids in upper grades or those whose children already have phones, to watch this recording. I've included the link in this newsletter.

Lastly, we have a lot going on this month as Ashley Falls parents! Please check the calendar for the many events coming up.

Parenting in the Digital World

Last week, the District hosted a parent education event, Parenting in the Digital World, presented by the Cyber Safety Cop, Clayton Cranford. The presentation includes valuable information for parents regarding social media and tools that parents can utilize to keep children safe.

A recorded version of the presentation will be available to parents until the end of the day on Thursday, April 4^th. If you were unable to attend the live event, we highly recommend that you view the recorded version provided by the presenter. Jog A Thon

Ashley Falls Jog-A-Thon will be Weds March 27th.

This is your final opportunity this school year to earn prizes while giving to the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation. DMSEF helps to fund the STEAM+ teachers on all Del Mar Union district campuses.

Volunteer for the Jog A Thon

The Ashley Falls PTA helps to support the DMSEF Jog A Thon by organizing the parent volunteer sign ups and hospitality. We hope to see you there!

Save the date for Night of the Arts

Night of the Arts is back on Friday, May 3rd!

Information will be available the last week of March. This is a memorable event for the entire community and one you don't want to miss.

Start talking with your student about how they plan to exhibit their artistic skills. We'd love to see more group collaboration for our live performances!
